1. I repeatedly tried and failed to upload a CSV spreadsheet and could only find a way to cut and paste from the spreadsheet but had to add a ; after each bit of data in every row of two of the three columns to populate the table

1. The fields separator is different among countries, the ; is set by default but you can use any other you want, at the top of the page where you paste the csv you will find these configuration parameters:

Field delimiter (default ;)
Row delimiter (default break-line)

you can change to your own separators before loading the information to specify your rows/fields format. The copy/paste action will be replaced for a direct file upload in future versions of the extension.

2. There is no 'clear' button at the search module, the search is cleared if you empty the search input and you press enter or click the search button again. If you have some script knowledge you may want to add it at the module, or you can ask us for a quote to build a custom version of that module, it's not a mayor change.
