NUMBER_INCORRECT

User moon_1034 2013-04-18 19:37:25

Hi again

If I type in a wrong figure etc into the field it says the following:

NUMBER_INCORRECT

Seems like a problem with the language file?

thanks

Hello,
yes, that text should be present at the file:

joomla\language\en-gb\en-GB.com_calcbuilder.ini

if you use the component view,
or
joomla\language\en-gb\en-GB.mod_calcbuilder.ini

if you use the module view.

and it has by default the value:

NUMBER_INCORRECT="Please write a valid number"

you can change it for any other text needed.

Thank you, regards

Morning

Not sure what you mean by component or module view?

Ive looked and have \language\en-gb\en-GB.com_calcbuilder.ini but not
joomla\language\en-gb\en-GB.mod_calcbuilder.ini

Hi, I have reinstalled and made sure I have all the correct files.

I still have this issue where it's not picking up from the language file, so is still displaying:

NUMBER_INCORRECT

Can you tell me what to do please

Hello,
we have checked the latest release contains that translation text (both for component and module), but maybe you downloaded any previous upload without that message included. If you are publishing your calculator as a module on your page, edit the language file:

joomla\language\en-gb\en-GB.mod_calcbuilder.ini

and add the preferred translation text at the end

NUMBER_INCORRECT="Please write a valid number"

if you are using the component to publish your calculator, same change for the file:

joomla\language\en-gb\en-GB.com_calcbuilder.ini

The extension is using default joomla language system, so this should do the work. Let us know if you can't get it working.
