multilanguage status and show last calculator input

User moon_808 2013-02-20 15:35:51

Hello there,

I have noticed 2 things since the last version:

1) the multilanguage status link,
instead of staying on the top of the joomla backend menu (near visitor number, admin, link to view site etc),
when i enter calcbuilder, it starts floating in a set length below the top.
I believe it has something to do with the .modal class of your css style.

2) is the option "Show last calculator inputs in frontend. Select type of saving." working?
I tried both settings but the last user input didn't seem to be saving for me. Am I missing something?

Thank you in advance for your answers!

Hello,

1) Yes, you´re right. You can add to JOOMLA/administrator/components/com_calcbuilder/assets/css/bootstrap.css

at the end of the file:

.multilanguage .modal {
position: static;
top: auto;
left: auto;
z-index: 0;
width: auto;
margin:0px;
border: 0px solid #fff;
background-color:transparent;
border: 0px solid rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3);
*border: 0px solid #999;
-webkit-border-radius: 0px;
-moz-border-radius: 0px;
border-radius: 0px;
outline: none;
-webkit-box-shadow: 0 0px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3);
-moz-box-shadow: 0 0px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3);
box-shadow: 0 0px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3);
-webkit-background-clip: padding-box;
-moz-background-clip: padding-box;
background-clip: padding-box;
}

We´ll include in next releases.

2) We tested and seems to be working. If you select user, in frontend a user should be logged to save calculator. In case of select cookies, browser should accept cookies. If your problem persists, please place a ticket in Helpdesk at Customer Area and we´ll check it.

Thanks. Regards,

I still have problems with number 2), the component does not seem to be saving the fields, either by using cookies or by user id.

I tried logging in and then back out, but nothing changed. When i refresh the page, the fields appear empty.

Also, I think that there is no link to submit a ticket in the customer area.

My subscription is valid for 2 more days, but i don't see any link...

Hello,
when you enter customer area you should see some sections:

and just below
Helpdesk
Enter a support ticket here

If you click 'here', you should be redirected to helpdesk panel, again with a link 'Submit new Ticket'. Which of the links is not showing/enabled for you?
