Hello,

You should look for the detailed error message checking your server error log file. If it's not related to the extension itself, maybe you are exceeding any server restriction with your calculator, like number of variables handled, post size, etc:. If you try to do any other action, like going to 'matrix' options, for ex, and it behaves same way, most probably there is a server restriction showing.

Trying another simple calculator it's also a good idea to know if it's related specifically to one calculator, but checking the error log file is the only way to know for sure.

You can paste the error message here if you don't know exactly what does it mean and we'll try to help.

OK i Will def look into that. I may just call my hosting company and see what they say and what I can do about it.

But I think i may have found away around it. Is it possible to have two seperate calc Builder modules interst into an article via loadposition but have it calculate both.

For example: (in one article)

{loadposition 1}
{loadposition 2}

When a client hit the Calculate button it will calculate both 1 and 2 into ONE calculation??!?!?!?!?!

This is my plan in getting around the HTTP 500 error.

Hello,

Error log shows that your request reaches server input vars limit. You should contact your hosting to increase this limit in order to get your form working properly.

About using 2 calculators to get one, we think this couldn´t be possible, because each calculator sends its own fields, not all fields in web page.

I found th php.ini file but it's not within the domain name I'm using but in

public_html

but inside the php.ini there isn't a "max_input_vars in php.ini" sooo before I even try I would like to know do I have to input this myself in the php.ini file located in the "public_html" file and it would work for my domain ( i have several) or would this mess up something??

I would write this in the php.ini file correct??

;Max input Variables
max_input_vars=2000

Oh and also the input box on the front end is no longer in line with the text. Check out mywebsite to see what I'm talking about:

Sorry but we can´t tell you if this php.ini is the one configured for you, or if this configuration is ok. Each server has its own configuration of Server(Apache, Nginx...), PHP (also each PHP version has it´s php.ini) and Linux or Windows and your server admin is the one who can help you with configurations.

In case they can't help you with this restriction, we suggest to upgrade to next version of Calcbuilder as soon as it's available, it will be released on the next days. It includes a new administration panel which compacts the requests and handles less variables, so it may help you to overcome some server restrictions.

We checked your page and form is a style issue. We´re not supposed to solve CSS or style issues....but you could try to add

vertical-align: bottom;

to h4 style in your layout and in JOOMLA/modules/mod_calcbuilder/assets/css/default.css in line 66 add

margin-bottom: 2px;

to .cb_form .inputbox style

Hope this helps. Regards,

Can i hire u to correct the errors??!?!?!! I did the code just like the first one but the other to have more inputs and varibles. Please let me know

Hello,
we can see two different errors at your log file. We are not sure the first one it's related to calcbuilder, it's about too many mails sent from your server:

451-SPEED LIMIT: Account has exceeded the max emails per hour allowed.

And the ones being thrown at your calculators is as you state, these ones:

PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '=' in /home4/realesi1/public_html/sovtax/components/com_calcbuilder/models/calcbuilder.php(323)
PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home4/realesi1/public_html/sovtax/components/com_calcbuilder/models/calcbuilder.php(323)
PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_IF in /home4/realesi1/public_html/sovtax/components/com_calcbuilder/models/calcbuilder.php(339)

These lines are telling you the code you configured for the calculator has any error, maybe you forgot to add a $ before any variable, any ; at the end of your line...it's related to any sintax error at that section. The error is thrown when the calculator tries to execute your calculations. If at a first sight you can't find the wrong line, we suggest to comment or remove lines or sections of your calculator code until you point out the incorrect expression. If you place a ticket at helpdesk, you can also paste your code there, we'll take a look and tell you if we see something wrong with it.

If you want us to entirely code your calculators, we also have available a custom calculator service, for which we send the calculator ready to import, we'd need the specs of your calculator sent to gestion@moonsoft.es and we'd confirm you the quote. But let's try to help you to fix your code first, maybe it's only any sintax error you can correct easily.

Regards

Ok I submitted a ticket. I had the code built just having a error for the last two forms. The first form works just fine and I am using the same type of code except I changed the varibles that correspond to each form. So hopefully they can see something I did wrong but i check and check and saw all the "$" and ";" signs needed.

So i don't know

Thank you and Ill be in touch
