Its not that easy as shown 18.11.2012 21:49

Hello,

Ive send a mail but im not sure if you read that..
I bought the advisor.
It looks easy but its not, its actualy very confusing....the steps i mean. What makes its hard is that there is no easy preview.

Isnt there a demo setup that can be installed?
I mean by its import function..?

And for what i can say at this moment, is that it isnt very well compatible using Rockettheme templates.
As soon as i use any module Classes of their design like: box title3
which is very common to use it completely breaks the whole advisor layout...

This is seriously the first time ive see this happen that a module class has a conflict.

For now at this moment im not satisfied and ask for a refund cause im not gonna spend to much time on getting this working for me...

Another issue i see is that the resume is not aligned as on your demo....
mine shows all the way on the left, while all text is unreadable...etc..

Hello,
yes, we read and answer every email, support ticket and forum posts. We see you sent and email, posted here several times, and that you have already placed a paypal dispute on the two following hours from your purchase. We usually have a support response time of -24h, like is this case, but you must note that you wrote yesterday , Sunday 10pm here, so that was not on the support time of the company, sorry.

About the setup, we can help you to understand how a flow should be created. In addition to the quick guide and the screen texts, we could create some simple flows that could be imported. In fact, it is a good idea, so we'll provide asap some examples that could be downloaded from customer area.

In the meantime, if you have any specific question about configuration, let us know and we'll try to help.

You can get an easy preview publishing the module on an empty hidden article, using loadmodule. If you need more information about how to use it, post again and we'll send detailed instructions.

About your other issues, they seem all related to css. As you will know for sure, the final layout of any content doesn't only depends on its own css, but on the other inherited styles. The advisor has it's own css located here:

joomla\modules\mod_advisor\assets\css\default.css

If you check that file, you will see all classes have a prefix 'ad_' in order to avoid conflicts with any other css on the site. But if your template or any other inline style overwrites the style, or some inheritance is changing the final look of your content, you may need to fix the stylesheet. If you let us know your url, we'll take a look and let you know where you can fix your css.

Best regards

I understand that replies aren't instant....but i see bad weather coming when looking at the issues...
For example, the layout of the steps...with images 1,2,3,4,5 etc...when i aply a style of rockketheme for a the module like box3 title3 then the whole design of you advisor is trashed. All images of 1,2,3,4,5 are gone and are just numbers aligned to the left....

Im not in it for the refund cause thats bull, but i do get very disapointed when something simple shows great on this site, while on mine it looks terrible...Unless you wanna say that rockettheme is junk....

My setup was / or is based on ...2 person....
1. person without a company
2. person with a company

if 1. do you want,1,2,3,4
you get1,2,3,4

same goes for 2.
But i completely failed on that....

But a full demo included or whatever would helped a lot..
But...that doesnt solve the big css issues..

I will setup a test area...

Will that help ?

Hello,
no, we are not going to say any other designer or programmer work is junk, that's not our style, and we definitively don't think that. But sometimes different parts on a cms need some tweak to work together, not having to blame any of the pieces for that.

Templates from rocket theme contain a heavy styling part. Most sure any of the classes is setting any property which is overwritting a basic part of the module layout and that's why you're getting a weird look. This is usually solved adding or changing some lines on our css. If you agree we can focus on the css issue first, and once you have the module properly styled, we'll go on to the flow configuration. This way we'll have some time to prepare an example, too.

It would be great if we could check a page where we could see the module in action. We could debug on line to find out where the problem is and build the changes needed.

If you don't feel like posting your url at the forum, please place a ticket at helpdesk, which remains private for other users and we'll follow discussion there.

Thank you, regards
